It's impossible to bake when there's no oven at college, of course. I got a bonus week of winter break this year so what better to do than break out the ol' baking gear I used to visit weekly. Thus, meet THE blondie brownies. One of my favorite brownie recipes.
Looking for something quick and easy, yet impressive to serve to your holiday guests? This is the right recipe for you! I made these for my Secret Santa Party guests. These tasty little treats are a spin on an old favorite (Oreos).
What a wonderful treat for the holiday season! I made these specifically for my Secret Santa party and they were a hit. I assigned each person a number and a number (their person to buy a gift for) so it was truly a secret until the party. It was revealed "who's who" because I put a little toothpick flag on some of the brownies so then each person just grabbed their number. (See in slideshow below).
It's almost 2015... wait what? As you watch the ball drop in Times Square, imagine sinking your teeth into a dreamy combination of marshmallow, chocolate, brownie, and rice krispies. That's right, grab your spatula and let's get baking!

While Halloween has now passed (keep this recipe in mind for next year!), celebrate the fall season with these bite sized treats. This fairly simple recipe can make adorable nibbles for a party, gift, or for the family. Required: food coloring and fun!
Classy. Adorable. Mini cupcakes. It's what makes the world go round! Okay maybe not really, but they are very tasty. I love the use of natural vanilla bean in this recipe! If I let my Football-playing 14 year old brother at a whole plate of these, he'd eat them up in 0.1 seconds flat. That boy has an appetite but he's a picky one! These are perfection. Save money and still treat yourself? YES. With school sadly right around the corner, you may be looking for ways to save a few pennies but also stay awake haha! Recently I've been enjoying weekend mornings at Starbucks with various friends, catching up. I might have to start brining my own drink in! *gasp* This simple recipe tastes exactly like the Starbucks version. You're welcome in advance! ;)
Hmmm what can a person do with a bountiful harvest of Zucchini from the garden? BAKE. This super tasty, moist, perfect treat will keep you coming back for more. Seriously, my family ate a whole loaf in a single night... You can't even taste the Zucchini, but the usage of it keeps the calorie count down.
Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer with a sweet treat that both looks and tastes like watermelon! Bring them camping, out to the shore, or to friends/family like I did. My guests were wowed at the look and true flavor of watermelon. Enjoy!
