❀SUMMER IS HERE❀
We are finishing planting our garden tomorrow, then heading to my best friend/ our family friend's house to celebrate my dad's birthday. I secretly home her mom makes her lemon cake for him... it's out of this word. I'll have to get the recipe.
Throwback to carefree summer days
in my childhood.
Recipe: "Fully Raw Vegan Ice Cream"
Yield: 1 servings
TIP: add more of each ingredient to make more servings for more people, or to save in a container like regular ice cream
1 serving, plain banana
-0g fat// 27g carbs //1g protein
-14g sugar (good fruit sugars!)
1 serving, mango-banana
-1g fat// 52g carbs //2g protein!
-37g sugar (good fruit sugars!)

TIP: You can either freeze the fruit ahead of time, or freeze the ice cream when you are done. I made mine in my Nutribullet blender (love it!) , but since making the ice cream requires continuous blending for several minutes, the mixture was actually kind of warm, and that will probably happen in food processors too, so I would still freeze the mixture afterwards even if the fruit is frozen beforehand. Anyways, I recommend freezing the banana(s) at least beforehand so it is creamier overall.
Strawberry Dream Cream Recipe
"Freeze your bananas overnight, peeled and placed in a ziploc bag. When ready to make the ice cream, cut them into inch-sized pieces and blend them in a high speed blender like a Vitamix with your cinnamon and vanilla bean. Pour your banana ice cream into the bowl. Rinse your container. Then, blend your strawberries and raspberries and then pour them into the side of your bowl where you have your banana ice cream. Using a spatula, create a swirl of color with the red and white. Plate your ice cream and top with more berries! Savor and enjoy this dreamy deliciousness!"
