In a food processor, combine the dried figs and approx. 2 lbs of dates until it reaches a cookie dough consistency. Press this crust into the bottom of your pie pan dish.
Blend 3 apples with approx 1 lb of dates, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a small bit of water until it reaches a thick, smooth, pie filling consistency.
Thinly slice your apples with a knife or with a mandolin and start layering your apple slices with your pie filling. Alternate between an apple layer with an apple pie filling spread layer. Layer up to the top, remove the hold, and slice. Refrigerate as needed.
OH GOSH. Or should I say "gobble"? Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I've been saving this recipe just to release for the holidays! Please everyone on the Nice list, and if you're on the naughty list health-wise, never fear; this is virtually fat free! 100% the taste with no baking.
Recipe based off of Fully Raw Kristina's recipe.
It's National Peanut Butter Lovers' Month! Power up with these divine tidbits. I found them to be easy and convenient to grab & go to the gym or to school. Personally, I'd rather "wake up" with real, nourishing food than pre-workout powder. Use Cinnamon Raisin, original, or honey Peanut Butter and Co. and you're ready to go! I can make a rhyme anytime. I'm a poet and I didn't even know it.
Okay so I keep repeating myself, but seriously what a great feeling to have absolute freedom! Ahh, summer ❤️ Anyways, on that note, I'm finally getting to some tasks I've been wanting to do for literally months... anyone feel me on this? I've been thinking of doing a DIY of some sort soon maybe, comment below if this would interest you, and also what you'd like to see!
YES, the weekend is here in all its glory! My classes end this Thursday and I cannot wait to have freedom! I'm definitely looking forward to spending more time outside, going to strength training, and creating more lovely food for you all. ❤️
❀SUMMER IS HERE❀
Recipe: "Fully Raw Vegan Ice Cream"
Strawberry Dream Cream Recipe
"Freeze your bananas overnight, peeled and placed in a ziploc bag. When ready to make the ice cream, cut them into inch-sized pieces and blend them in a high speed blender like a Vitamix with your cinnamon and vanilla bean. Pour your banana ice cream into the bowl. Rinse your container. Then, blend your strawberries and raspberries and then pour them into the side of your bowl where you have your banana ice cream. Using a spatula, create a swirl of color with the red and white. Plate your ice cream and top with more berries! Savor and enjoy this dreamy deliciousness!"
